The Massachusetts legislature have a public hearing on bills H.584/S.365– “An Act Relative to anti-racism, equity, and justice in education” on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m ETS.
The bill would introduce the teaching of ethnic studies through a critical social justice lens in Massachusetts public schools.
We oppose this bill as it would promulgate a harmful and divisive ideology.
Instead we should be teaching the recognition of common humanity and the celebration of ethnic cultures per the FAIR learning standards.
