Colorado Mother Krista Cooley was a guest on The Jenny Hatch Show today.
She shared how helpful FAIR Colorado was in helping to resolve an incident at her sons middle school.An essay was published on the FAIR Colorado web site in February outlining the facts of this situation.
The attached essay written by Judith Sears illustrates how one parent, following her instinct that something was not right in her son’s classroom, shone a light on a classroom exercise that produces feelings of shame among children. During the podcast Krista explained how everything could have been prevented if only she had been given the option to opt her child into or out of the activity.
