Alberta Chapter Updates:

FAIR Alberta encourages open and respectful discussions, and acknowledges that we may not always agree with each other. A video showing an incident where Deputy PM Freeland was confronted by an angry citizen stresses the point that we need to approach difficult interactions in a dignified manner while our gut reaction may want otherwise. The resources below may help to reframe disagreements into more productive interactions.

Short-term Outlook:

We are excited to announce that Daryl Davis, subject of the award winning documentary, Accidental Courtesy, will be in Edmonton in Spring of 2023. Mr. Davis has received the Elliott-Black and MLK awards, as well as numerous other local and national awards, for his work in dismantling racism. He is also on the Board of Advisors for FAIR. You can learn more about Mr Davis from his 2017 TedX Talk.
