San Bernardino County Chapter

The San Bernardino County Chapter of the Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism (FAIR) launched in January 2022. FAIR is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing civil rights and liberties for all Americans, and promoting a common culture based on fairness, understanding and humanity. Click here to learn more about what we stand for and guiding principles based on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Principles of Nonviolence.

If you are located in the area and you share these values, sign up to become a member. We have an online social community, and we do outreach, advocacy, and educational campaigns as well as in-person meetups.

We want to hear your stories! If you have experienced intolerance, racism, or feel that you’re in a culture at work or school in which you can’t speak your mind freely, please reach out to us!

You can also submit a review or an incident report at FAIR Transparency if you feel you have been exposed to discrimination at work or school.

If you have a story to tell, or questions for us, please use the “Contact Us” form below.

If you want to join us and make a difference, please fill out our volunteer inquiry form.

Over the past few years, I have become more aware of political narratives that are encouraging a departure from holding values of treating individuals based on their character to strictly by their immutable characteristics. I am concerned that our society is focusing on differences between people in a oversimplistic and one-sided point of view that is emphasizing an “us vs them” mentality. I also see the unwillingness to speak out in situations in fear of being ostracized by not wanting to conform to illiberal point of views. This is why I decided to partner with FAIR as a volunteer and establish a chapter for our county. Please join me in our journey to empower our community members to speak up and speak out at workplaces and other institutions (such as schools) so we can create an inclusive and fair community where all voices are heard.
