These training workshops are designed to help members and leaders at all levels of FAIR develop the knowledge, skills, and community to take positive and productive action promoting fairness, understanding, and humanity.

GL1 - Community Building & Advocacy Skills

RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITE: None
DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOP:
In this program, participants will learn the importance of telling their story on why critical race theory is harmful to a free society and human flourishing and inspire others to join in the FAIR cause. If you want to transform society, you need to work with others who support your ideas. This training will show participants pathways to building a grassroots community equipped for a wide spectrum of action. The session is led by Grassroots Leadership Academy.

GL2 - Grassroots Organizing Skills

GL1 - Community Building & Advocacy Skills

DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOP:
A successful movement for change requires as many people to come together as possible to advocate for it. Learn how to increase your numbers by building and maintaining successful coalitions. Then employ the Snowflake Model of organizing to get people acting in their sphere of influence. The session is led by Grassroots Leadership Academy.

DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOP:
Power mapping is an advocacy tool used to strategically identify key decision-makers or influencers needed to achieve social and societal change. In this session, participants will learn how to effectively use variations of power mapping tools to achieve the Vision of a FAIR Pro-Human society.
